Amazing breakfast spread with fresh fruits, Turkish meats, and cheese. I felt like I was indulging in a royal feast in the morning. The location of the hotel was superb, just a short walk away from Turkey's largest Roman Catholic church. It was like having a sanctuary right at my doorstep.
Weak air conditioning.

Beautiful Turkish museum-like ambiance with great hospitality. Helpful and friendly staff, with a special mention to Erol the Captain, the kitchen lady, and the night guy. - Awesome breakfast with a real damn cup of coffee and special food with tomatoes and peppers. - Perfectly located in the heart of Istiklal Street. - Great service, hospitality, location, and price make this hotel one of the best.
Felt at home, nothing to complain about.

It is located in the city center, very close to major tram and bus hubs. It is in a very lively neighborhood, but the interior is very quiet; the best of both. The breakfast is good. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast menu at the hotel is a delicious and satisfying feast, with fresh fruit, vegetables, Turkish meats, and cheese served buffet-style. It's like starting your day with a culinary adventure! Each room in this boutique hotel is equipped with brand new amenities, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. You'll feel like royalty in the lap of luxury!
One minor issue is the proximity of the hotel to a noisy nightclub.

Hotel's location is very good, it is very near to the Istiklal street. It is 5 minutes to the Taksim Square by foot, you can easily reach everywhere. Rooms are clean, air conditioner,TV and other staff was working, bathroom is also ok.
The apartments and other neighbours located in the street are not so good

The staffs were very friendly and helpful in guiding us to the right directions.
The place is a little bit crowded and too many clubs nearby.

The rooms at Jakaranda Hotel are absolutely fantastic! They are so cozy and comfortable, it really feels like a home away from home. The brand new amenities make everything feel modern and convenient. Plus, the free wi-fi is a huge bonus!
Although everything was great, I personally found the lighting in the room a bit too dim for my liking. But hey, that's just my preference and I'm sure others might still enjoy the cozy atmosphere it creates.

The hotel is quite new, the rooms are nice and clean, some of them are very spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is no buffet-breakfast but still ok (a plate with some cheese, vegetables, butter, marmalade, sometimes nutella + juice, coffee, tea). The location of the hotel is great; you can walk basically everywhere.
The hotel is located next to a very noisy area with a lot of bars and clubs - it seems to be the noisest area in Istanbul! So, the hotel is not very quiet - you can hear the music from the bars until very late in the night. Also, the floors in the hotel are a bit noisy and you can hear people walking and talking in the room above yours. The shuttle-service that the hotel organises didn't work out perfectly for us (when arriving, it took some time to find the driver at the airport, and then he took another couple to another hotel before us; when leaving, the driver didn't show up and the hotel called us a normal taxi).

Spent Christmas at this hotel and had a fantastic time. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the main attractions in the area. The breakfast was nice and had a good variety of traditional food. The room was cozy and clean, with towels and slippers provided. The free wifi was a great perk for keeping in touch with family back home.
The room was quite small and the bathroom was not in the best condition. There was also some noise from the street outside due to the central location. However, overall the positive aspects of the hotel outweighed any negative points. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the area.
